We have years of experience in helping charities pass audits and would love to help your non-profit organisation or charity too.
In New Zealand, all registered charities are required to file an annual return with Charities Services within six months of their balance date (financial year end). W:
1. Preparing Financial Statements or Performance Reports:
Tiers 1 and 2: Prepare financial statements in line with the reporting standards.
Tiers 3 and 4: Prepare a performance report according to the relevant standards.
2. Completing the Annual Return Form:
We ensure the details are kept up to date for the charity’s account on the Charities Services website.
Filing the annual return is crucial for maintaining your charity’s registration status. Failure to do so can result in deregistration.
Tax and Trust have been our Church’s Accountants for approximately 13 years. They always do their upmost for our Church and for any help I need or questions answered. As we are a Charity they take care of all our Charity Obligations with filing to the Charities Commission and with our Auditors with their yearly audit of our Accounts. We use the XERO Accounting System and Michelle and her team always help us with any queries. The whole team at Tax & Trust have always been friendly and helpful to myself. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any Clients that are Charities or just need new Accountants that they can trust who are professional & efficient Accountants.
